Hibernating Peacock Peacock You don’t expect to find butterflies this time of the year. My wife however, found one sitting on the street. This Peacock (Aglais io) was probably disturbed at the place it was hibernating. My wife took the butterfly with her. The Peacock is now hiding in our shed.
